Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Innoviata IA LLC (“Munazzim”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Munazzim application and website at munazzim.app(the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@munazzim.app of any unauthorized use.

2. The Service

Munazzim is a weekly planning application that helps you organize tasks around prayer times, view Hijri dates, set reminders, and manage lists. We may add, change, or remove features at any time to improve the Service.

3. Religious-content and information disclaimer

Prayer times, Hijri (Islamic) calendar dates, Qibla-related information, and similar religious information shown in the Service are generated by automated astronomical and calendrical calculations and depend on the location and settings you provide. They are provided for convenience and general guidance only, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are not a substitute for your local mosque, a qualified religious authority, or official local timetables. You are solely responsible for verifying prayer times and dates from authoritative sources. We make no representation that any calculation conforms to the rulings of any particular school of thought or authority, and we are not liable for any reliance on this information.

4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

The Service offers a free tier with limited features and paid premium plans (monthly and yearly). Paid features and the specific limits of the free tier are described on our pricing page and may change.

• Free trial. A free trial (where offered) automatically converts into a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends.
• Recurring billing. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on each renewal.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period; we do not provide prorated refunds except as stated in our Refund Policy or as required by law.
• Taxes and price changes. Prices may exclude applicable taxes. We may change prices on a going-forward basis with notice before your next renewal.

Payments are handled by Stripe and are also subject to Stripe’s terms. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that violates the rights of others;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems, or interfere with or disrupt the Service;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law;
• Use the Service to transmit malware or to circumvent usage limits or security measures.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the tasks, notes, lists, images, and other content you create (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to submit it.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and the Munazzim name and mark, is owned by Innoviata IA LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (including Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, and Google sign-in). We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services, which are governed by their own terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that reminders, notifications, prayer times, or dates will be delivered on time or be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Innoviata IA LLCand its officers, members, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, missed reminders or prayer times, or reliance on any information provided. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Innoviata IA LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware, United States will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
